<p><i>No Man’s Land</i> falls squarely in the tradition of Eastern European filmaking, and in this region people know better than to draw lines between tragedy and comedy. If they had American-style TV network programming, their sitcoms would have a murder or a rape per episode, and their dramas would come with laughtracks. So – don’t be misled by the trailer. <i>No Man’s Land</i> has its share of laughs, but a comedy it isn’t.
